First things first? What is GridWiz?
GridWiz OCX is a MFC (Microsoft Foundation Class) based control written in C++. The term ActiveX is now also being used for controls of this type. This is partly because of their ability to be placed on a HTML page as part of a Internet Application. Then, WEB browsers like Microsoft Internet Explorer V3.x download them and allow the user to intereact with your HTML page through the control. Nevertheless, the GridWiz OCX controls provide the user interface of a spreadsheet style grid or multi-column listbox in a multitude of developer environments ranging from Visual Basic to Visual C++ and Borland Delphi. The GridWiz OCX controls are loaded with methods, properties, events and functions which allow you to create truely flexible and innovative applications. The GridWiz OCX also provides you the Grid Workshop, a WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is--what-you-get) grid editor. You will use the Grid Workshop to create complex grids and workbooks and incorporate them directly into your OCX.
