The Universal E-mail Programming Interface

IDSMail is an easy to use programming component that allows you to incorporate universal E-MAIL send and receive capabilities into your application. A single set of code allows you to transparently support:

• SMTP/POP (all Internet mail clients)
• MAPI (Microsoft Mail, Exchange, GroupWise, etc.)
• VIM (Lotus cc:Mail, Lotus Notes)
• MHS (DaVinci, Pegasus, etc.)
• Banyan VINES (Beyond Mail, Shark!Mail, etc.)

IDSMail works with Windows 3.1, 95 and NT. It can be utilised by 16-bit and 32-bit development systems such as:

• Visual Basic (v3.0 min)
• Visual C++ (v1.5 min)
• Delphi (v1.0 min)
• MS Access (v2.0 min)
• Visual FoxPro (v3.0 min)
• MS Excel (v5.0 min)

IDSMail provides automatic attachment decoding (MIME or UUENCODED), built-in ZIP archiving and compression. Code examples and documentation are made available at our web site.
