Step 1 - Open the photo |
Open the photo you want to work on. |

Step 2 - Add borders |
Select the Script for this step below to add a border of white pixels around the image. In the Add Border dialog, note that many more pixels will be added to the left side -- this is where you would place text for the card. Depending on the size of your photo, you may wish to increase or decrease this number. |

Step 3 - Select the Picture Tubes tool |
From the Tools toolbar, select the Picture Tubes tool. |
Select this tool for me. |

Step 4 - Choose a Picture Tube |
From the Tubes drop-down in the Tool Options palette, choose an appropriate Picture Tube for the photo. For example, you could use the Metallic Streamers tube. |

Step 5 - Place tubes on the photo |
Click with the Picture Tubes tool to place tubes on the photo. Use the Tool Options settings to control the look of the tubes. |

Step 6 - Add text or other final touches |
Apply any desired final touches to the photo. For example, you could place text in the border area added to the photo's left side. |
