Create a dialog Preset - An example

Step 1 - Display the New Image dialog
Choose File > New, or click the New button on the standard toolbar, or press Ctrl + N. The New Image dialog opens.
Perform this step for me.
Step 2 - Make dialog settings
Make the following dialog settings: a) set image dimensions to 50 x 50 pixels with a 200 pixels/inch resolution; b) choose a Raster background; c) choose a 16 Million Colors (24 bit) color depth; d) uncheck the Transparent checkbox, click inside the Color box, choose a blue solid color background, and click OK to close the Materials dialog.
Step 3 - Save this Preset
At the top of the New Image dialog, click the Save button, and in the Save Preset dialog, type "50x50Raster16MBlue". Click OK to save this Preset. You'll now see it in the Presets list.
Step 4 - Click OK in New Image dialog
Click OK to close the New Image dialog and display the image.
Notes and Tips:
If you find yourself repeatedly using specific dialog settings, save them as a Preset. You might be amazed at the setup time you'll save.
To delete a Preset, simply select it from the Presets drop-down list and then click the Delete button.
