Getting Started

Some things to make your life Easier:

The first thing you should do is create one folder just for your work. Put all the HTML files and images associated with them in your new folder and be sure to Save your pages constantly to prevent losing any work. This will make transferring your files to your Internet server and testing a lot easier. Setting the working folder Preference will allow you to be automatically prompted to save to that working folder when saving and inserting images, this is highly recommended.

Most of the Editor buttons (Cut, Paste, Copy, etc.) are active only if you are working on New Web pages or have opened an Existing webpage.

How to start a New Webpage

There are a couple ways to start a new webpage:

New Blank Webpage Button - This button will simply open a new document and add the basic HTML tags required for a webpage.

Quick Start Button - This button opens the Quick Start Dialog which will allow you to choose many aspects of your webpage, such as colors and title, and when dismissed, it will open a new webpage with your selections inserted as HTML.
