YOU WORKED HARD ON YOUR WEBPAGE - SAVE IT AND VIEW IT

Save your webpage first...

SAVE | SAVE AS | SAVE ALL

SAVE SAVE SAVE. You do not want to lose your webpage, so be sure to save it and test it often. Use the Save Icon (above left) to save the current page you are working on. Use the Save All Icon (above right) to save all pages you have open in the Editor. Use the Save As (above center) to save an existing webpage you are working on as a different name.. In Preferences, you can set the Editor to save your page(s) every time you test the page. This way you Save and Test at the same time.

Additionally, when you open a new document to work on, the lower right Status Bar (pictured below) displays an "UNSAVED" warning that your webpage has not been saved.

Why are there two buttons for testing my webpage?

Whether you design your webpage to look best in Netscape or Internet Explorer, you need to be sure that both sides of the browser world are able to at least view your content. In other words, don't just view the page you are working on in Netscape ONLY or Internet Explorer ONLY. Use both browsers and make sure your webpage looks good in both.

For this reason we have developed two browser testing icons. One points to the default browser set into your computer's registry file, the other is intended to be used for "the other browser". "The other browser" being either Netscape or Internet Explorer, which ever is the opposite of your default browser.

You can choose which Browser you would like to use as "the other browser" by pushing it the first time and finding the path to the program. If you would like to change this path at any time just go to the TOOLS Menu, choose Preferences, and then choose the section labeled Testing and Uploading
