Using Privacy Advisor

What Privacy Advisor tells you

Privacy Advisor alerts you whenever ZoneAlarm Pro's cookie control, ad blocking, or mobile code control settings block elements in the Web page you are viewing. The Advisor lists the types of Web elements that have been blocked.

The Advisor disappears automatically after a few seconds. You can also close it by clicking the X in the upper-right corner.

Tip To see details or to change privacy settings immediately, click the link labeled Click here for details. ZoneAlarm Pro opens to the Privacy panel.

Turning Privacy Advisor off or on

To turn Privacy Advisor off:

1. Go to the Main tab in the Privacy panel.
2. Under Cookies, click the Custom button. The Custom Privacy Settings dialog box opens.
3. Under Privacy Advisor Control, clear the check box labeled Show Privacy Advisor.
4. Click OK.

To turn Privacy Advisor on, select the check box.
