When changing fonts for your envelopes, labels, or stationery, the font list that is displayed is based on the fonts that you have installed on your system. Wedding Magic does not install or maintain a separate list of fonts. You can find calligraphy fonts on the Internet, or you can also buy a CD from a computer store.
The procedures for installing new fonts may vary depending on your operating system. In Windows 98 and 2000, you should find a Fonts folder in your Control Panel folder. In Windows XP, you also have a Fonts folder - it is just harder to find. You can click Start / Control Panel. On the left side of the Control Panel window you should see a link to Switch to Classic View. Click the link and then you should see a Fonts folder. Once you have located the Fonts folder, double-click it to open it. Then click File / Install New Font.
**Issues with fonts: There are two types of fonts - True Type Fonts and Printer Fonts. If you have selected a Printer Type Font to use, the font may not be rendered properly on the screen - but it should print fine. In the font selection window, when you select a font from the list, you should see a message at the bottom indicating if it is a True Type Font or a Printer Font. If possible, it is better to use a True Type Font, but if you select a Printer Font, just be aware of the issues. In some cases, it may even look like characters on your screen - but it still should print correclty.
