back to top Advanced Topics Using the Favourites menu (ver 3.0 and above) The favourites menu allows you to quickly start commonly used stopwatches without having to type in the details. For example - Phone calls, Coffee breaks, specific tasks can all be setup as favourites and accessed quickly from the menu. To add favourites, go to "Edit Favourites" to bring up the small screen containing a list of commonly accessed stopwatches. Click Add to create a new entry and enter the name you want to use (eg 'Meetings') then click OK. The word meetings will appear in the list, with the default category next to it and the letter 'M' [this means the stopwatch will start manually]. To Edit the properties of an entry, first select the item in the list, then on the right hand side of the form you can change the category, caption and whether it starts automatically or manually. You must click the 'Keep Changes' button to save the changes, then click 'Done' to return to the timer menu. Using the favourites is simply a matter of clicking the menu and choosing an item - if its automatic the timer will start and begin the stopwatch, otherwise the timer will start and wait for you to manually begin timing. back to top Categories and Logfiles categories are used when logging a completed timer to the diary file and the CSV sheet.
