What's wrong: finger over the lens

Problem:
One side of the photo is obscured by a dark, blurry area. This is caused by the photographer's finger partially covering the lens while taking the photo.

Crop the picture so that the dark area is cut out of the picture. If needed, you can then resize the picture to its original size.

Paint over the dark area using the clone brush. The clone brush lets you paint over an area using the color and texture of another part of your picture, such as the sky or surrounding area.
