Welcome to PrimalSCRIPT! |
||||
In this document: | PrimalSCRIPT is a
professional editor designed for use with scripting
languages. PrimalSCRIPT has all the features
that one would expect from a professional editor
including language independence, advanced search and
replace, hex editing, code snippets, dynamic HTML
preview, language sensitive syntax coloring, script file
templates, FTP file access, spell checking, advanced help
and much more. PrimalSCRIPT is aimed primarily at web site developers and script authors who "want to get into the code." In addition, it is a great tool for system administrators who create automated scripts for various purposes such as user log-in scripts and system wide unattended processes. With the inclusion of Windows Scripting Host languages such as VBScript and JScript, PrimalSCRIPT becomes a tool for anyone who wants to automate their Windows operating system. Highlighted features

Applications:
The reference material is automatically installed in the PrimalSCRIPT\Online Help folder if you select full or custom install. The other products can be installed either from the CD browser or by opening the CD and installing directly from the appropriate folder. NotesInfo Nexus:The Info Nexus allows you to add Windows help files as well as HTML pages and URLs. PrimalSCRIPT will only search across local files when the user presses F1 in the edit window. URLs located remotely will not be searched and neither will links within local web pages even if those links are local as well. JScript and JavaScript:Because both of these languages use the same file extension but can use different interpreters, the user needs to either assign the .js extension to one or the other file type in the View-Options-Languages tab or use different extensions. |
