Tea Ceremony
Tea Ceremony is called Sado or "way of tea" in Japanese. It is also called Chanoyu. It achieved success as an art in the 16th century. Tea Ceremony is a ritual in which the host prepares and serves green tea to his or her guests. There is also a special etiquette on how the tea should be drunk by the guests. The tea used in a Tea Ceremony is different from usual green tea. It is made from powdered green tea and is called Matcha. The powdered green tea is scooped into a tea bowl, and hot water is poured in. It is then blended using a bamboo whisk.
