SoccerSoccer is a popular sport in Japan. It became especially popular after the J.League professional soccer league kicked off its season in 1993. As of 2002, Japan's national soccer team had participated in the FIFA World Cup two times. There are now many Japanese professional soccer players playing abroad. Secondary use of this photograph is prohibited.
