Description: Elvis is a vi clone written by Steve Kirkenda (kirkenda@cs.pdx.edu). Version 2.0 has many things that the standard Unix vi does not. Description: BUG ALERT! After several feedbacks, I realized an important bug. The program crashes if you try to open a database that lives in a folder that is more than 1 directory deep. I am working on this right now, and apologize. :( Please move the samples to the root directory to use them, or wait for Alpha 2, which will arrive before Christmas with many fixes and improvements. Thanks :) Halcyon Data is an early demo of a standalone database I am working on. It includes a GUI which allows the user to define their own database, with fields of Text or Numbers. The engine that drives the database is in very early form, but will one day be available as a library for developers who want to add some simple DBase style database access to their software. The engine allows for standalone database files as opposed to being integrated with the operating system. This software has many bugs and is incomplete, but offers a preview of what I am working on. As things get improved, new versions will appear here.
