QA Student

We're looking for an energetic college student to join our QA team. The duration of the internship will be during the summer of 1997, starting no later than June. The pay will be reasonable and based on experience.

The applicant will be responsible for finding software and hardware related problems with the BeOS and the BeBox. The scope of this work:

• verifying and logging developer bugs
• creating various evil test scenarios that break the OS
• peripheral verification and test
• performance testing
• other, potentially menial, work

Most importantly, test apps/code will need to be written to support the QA process above. This job will incorporate anything from moving boxes to banging out code alongside Be engineers. The unenthusiastic are not encouraged to apply.....

Knowledge of C and C++ is required. It is preferable that the applicant have experience with Unix, Windows and Mac environments. Knowledge of the BeOS is a plus!
