Focus

 
 Focus describes the form of the electron beam which possibly should be circular when landing on phosphor all over the screen and at all resolutions. A bad focus is marked by variation in sharpness of signs and lines, especially between the centre of the screen and the edges. Please take into consideration that sharpness is also affected by video bandwidth, convergence and the resolution used.
