Viewing tool tips

In addition to onscreen Help on specific topics, Claris Home Page provides tool tips on its toolbars and in dialog boxes that briefly describe the function of buttons and options.

Displaying tool tips for toolbar buttons

Tool tips appear beneath a toolbar button (Windows) or to the right of the toolbar (Macintosh) when you position the pointer over a toolbar button.

Windows: To hide the tool tips, choose Hide Tool Tips from the Help menu.

Displaying tool tops in a dialog box

Tool tips appear at the bottom of a dialog box when you position the mouse over specific options. As you drag the mouse, tool tips change to describe each option in the dialog box.
