Printing Help topics

In onscreen Help, information is organized by subject in topics. For example, all of the topics describing how to work with tables can be accessed by choosing Tables from the Help or Menu.

Each topic is stored as a separate HTML file and you can print them, if you want.

To print a topic:

  1. Choose the topic from the Help or Menu, main contents, or Index.
  2. Choose Print from the File menu and click OK.

All of the information documented in Help is also available in a book- style format for printing in the Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF version of the user's guide. The user's guide is available on the Claris Home Page CD-ROM disc or you can download it from the Claris Home Page Web site.

Tip Adobe Acrobat Reader files are designed to be printed, so their quality is better than printed Help topics.

To print the user's guide:

  1. Install Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is included on the Claris Home Page CD-ROM disc or available from the Adobe Systems Incorporated Web site.
  2. Open one of the user's guide PDF files (for example, 01_planning.pdf). If you have the Claris Home Page CD-ROM disc, the user's guide PDF files are located in the pdf_documentation folder.
  3. Choose Print from the File menu, and then click OK.

Note For more information about moving around in the user's guide, see chapter 2 in the Claris Home Page Getting Started guide.
