1. Customize your pages. All of your
frame site's files are displayed in the Site Editor window
which is now open. Your frame page is called index.htm.
Double-click to open it in Edit Frames mode where you can
resize the layout. You may also want to open the file that
contains your navigational menu and rename the links to be
more meaningful to your readers. |
2. Assign the files that you wish to be
displayed when readers first see your frame page in the
browser . While in Edit Frames mode, double click in one of
the frame sections on the index.htm page to bring up the
Frame Object Editor. Click on the Assign file button on the
Content tab and choose a file to replace the temporary
file. |
3. Upload your site to a web server by
clicking the Upload button in the Site Editor. To use the
Upload feature, make sure your computer network supports
File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and that your Web server
account settings are specified completely. For more
information on setting FTP options and uploading your pages,
refer to "Uploading your pages to a server" in online Help
or Chapter 12 of the Claris Home Page User's Guide. You can
delete this instructional file (read_me.htm) so that it is
not uploaded with the other pages in your site. |
