Pangea Software's newest smash hit Enigmo is, believe it or not, a simple puzzle game. In the vein of games like Lemmings, Enigmo asks you to perform a simple task — putting dripping liquid into the proper recepticle — but forces you to figure out how.
Your challenge is to use various devices — bumpers, slides, accelerators, and sponges — to direct the path of the drips. Gravity is your best and worst friend, as you'll quickly learn. And there are an array of obstacles — from simple walls, to sponges and locked force fields. You get points by directing 50 droplets of each liquid in the level into the correct container before bonus time runs out, but the points drop quickly, so it's likely that your first attempts will yield zero points.
The demo includes the first ten of approximately 70 levels. But even better — and this may contribute to the game's popularity — you can design your own levels and games.
All in all, Enigmo is a great game, a game that will call to you in those odd moments of the day and hold your attention for hours.
