Using LFPATCH.EXE

LFPATCH.EXE is the utility used to apply the patch. This is the utility you will have to distribute to your users. LFPATCH.EXE on startup reads the patch description file (LFI) given as the command-line parameter (e.g. running LFPATCH.EXE PATCH1.LFI). When LFPATCH is run without parameter it will use default name: LFPATCH.LFI.

The directory and the executable file name are taken from LFI file. If the user installed product to the directory different from the default, he will have to use Browse button to select it. Clicking Install patch button installs the patch to the user's product installation.
