Changing the Keyboard Emulation Type
Terminal keyboard emulation settings are defined by a keymap file. CRT includes four built-in keymap files: VT100, VT220, SCOANSI, and Default. The Default keymap file defines an emulation most similar to the PC keyboard, but also provides mappings for the keys F1-F4. In most situations, you will want the keyboard emulation to match the terminal emulation type you are using.
To change the keyboard emulation type for a session:
4 Select the Emulation category in the Sessions Options dialog.
4 In the Emulation section make your keyboard selection in the Keyboard drop-down box. If you are selecting a custom keyboard, you will need to specify the custom keymap filename.
