Application and Numeric Keypad Modes

Application keypad mode and numeric keypad modes are mutually exclusive.

When application keypad mode is enabled, the keypad sends escape sequences to the application on the remote host.

When numeric keypad mode is enabled, the keypad sends the ASCII character codes which correspond to the numeric characters shown on the keys.

By default, numeric keypad mode is enabled.
