What's new in JBuilder 2 -
Enterprise Features

JBuilder 2 makes it easier to develop and deliver complex, scalable CORBA applications in record time. This is because VisiBroker for Java has been tightly integrated into the JBuilder 2 development environment.

Greater IDL support and Integration 
Compile errors show the offending line in the IDL source code. The IDL2JAVA compiler is fully integrated into the JBuilder 2 build system. Errors or warnings are handled in the JBuilder environment.

Enterprise JavaBean Wizard 
JBuilder 2 brings the enterprise-level developer even more help with the new Enterprise JavaBean Wizard. The wizard gives you a head start creating enterprise JavaBeans! An Enterprise JavaBean is a non-visual bean that runs on a server.

Increase end-user satisfaction and reduce costs by deploying applications across the network using Borland's Deployment Server for Java (or DSJ). The new deployment server, which ships with the Client/Server edition of JBuilder 2, lets you deploy your applications with the convenience of Applets, but without Applet restrictions.
