Cause an object to look
like it's reflected in the glass surface of another image by using
the techniques described in this tutorial.

Apply effects to
the image of the building and use the result as a displacement
map. Create a duplicate of the image, apply the Emboss filter
to it, and save the image.
- Click Image menu, Duplicate.
- In the Duplicate Image dialog box click OK.
- Click Effects menu, 3D Effects, Emboss.
- In the Emboss dialog box, click Reset button, and click OK.
- Click File menu, Save.
- In the Save An Image To Disk dialog box, choose the drive
and the folder where you want to save the file from the Save In
box.
- Type a filename in the File Name box, and click Save.
- Click File menu, Close to close the Image Window of the file
you just saved.

Paste an object
into the image that will be reflected in the glass surface of
the building.

Paste the object
into the image of the building, and apply the Displace filter
using the displacement map created earlier.
- Click the Object Picker tool from the
Toolbox.
- Click the object that will be pasted into the image of the
building, and click Edit menu, Copy.
- Click Window menu, PTTIP10OPEN.CPT, to make the image of the
building the active image.
- Click Edit menu, Paste, As New Object.
- Click Effects menu, 2D Effects, Displace.
- In the Displace dialog box, click the Reset button.
- Click the Load button.
- In the Load Displacement Map Files dialog box, locate the
file that you saved earlier, and click Open.
- Click OK.

Adjust the opacity
of the object and paste another copy of the object into the image.
Merge all the objects with the background.
- On the Property Bar, move the Object Opacity slider to 60.
- Click Edit menu, Paste, As New Object.
- Click the Object Picker tool from the
Toolbox, and drag the object to the opposite
side of the image from the reflected object.
- Click Object menu, Combine, Combine All Objects With Background.
