You can create movie
animations that fade one image into another using the powerful
animation tools included with Corel PHOTO-PAINT.
To begin, open the first image.

To create a movie
animation, convert the image into a movie
file and add several frames to it.
- Click Movie menu, Create From Document.
- Click Movie menu, Insert Frame.
- In the Insert Frames dialog box, type 10 in the Insert box.
- Click the After button, and type 1 in the Frame box.
- Click Copy Current Frame, and click OK.
Note
The image "TIP1OPEN.CPT" is converted into a movie containing
11 frames and is in the .AVI file format.

Open the second
image. It will be used to create the animated image transition.

Copy the contents
of the image to the Clipboard, paste its
contents into the first frame of the movie and change its transparency
level.
- Click Edit menu, Copy.
- Select the .AVI file by clicking Window menu, TIP1OPEN.AVI.
- Click Edit menu, Paste, As New Object.
- On the Property Bar, move the Object Opacity slider to 10.
- Click Object menu, Combine, Combine Objects With Background.

Paste the image
into each successive frame with a slightly higher transparency
level.
- Click Movie menu, Control, Step Forward One Frame.
- Click Edit menu, Paste, As New Object.
- On the Property Bar, move the Object Opacity slider to 20.
- Click Object menu, Combine, Combine Objects With Background.

Continue pasting
the image into the movie frame by frame while increasing the Opacity
level by 10 for each frame. When you reach the last frame, you
are finished creating the animated image transition.
Save the image to a file format that supports animation, e.g.,
.AVI.
Play the movie to view the results. Click Movie menu, Control,
Play Movie. Click Movie menu, Control, Stop Movie to stop playing
the movie.
Note
If you choose to save your movie as an animated .GIF file, you
must first convert your image to 8-bit Paletted mode.
