Creating embossed text creates a raised look such as buttons.

  1. Click the Text tool.
  2. Create some Artistic text.
  3. Apply a heavy font to the text.

  1. Fill the text with a gold color.
  2. Create a duplicate of the object.
  3. Fill the duplicate text object with black.

  2. Fill the duplicate object with the Cylinder - Gold 07 Preset from the Fountain Fill Dialog.

  1. Move the gold filled text to the back.
  2. Offset the gold fountain filled text down and to the right of the first text item.
  3. Offset the black text down and to the right of the fountain filled text item.

  1. Click the Rectangle tool and create a rectangle.
  2. Select the rectangle with the Pick tool.
  3. Click Arrange menu, To Back to place the rectangle to the back of the text objects.

  5. Change the angle to -45 in the Option box.
