The video clips take forever to run and when they do have slow playback
My computer can't read the PDF tutorials
Why do we use Flash for our video tutorials?
I
am running software for the first time and I get the message that the trial
has expired
This is most likely because a trial version was previously installed on your computer. All
trial, demo and
evaluation software contain a copyright protection scheme designed
to protect the software from hackers
and the reinstallation of their software
that prevents people from buying the full version.
This protection is particularly sensitive to attempts to change the computers
clock (setting back the clock
of your computer can sometimes extend the life
of the trial) as well as attempts to modify certain files.
It's sometimes
caused by a conflict of files, maybe from another software or from the same
manufacturer.
If you come across this error you will need to contact the software manufacturer.

I
keep getting bad sound quality on the video tutorials
Test your speakers: Unplug your speakers and plug in a set of headphones, look for any loose speaker wiring.
Check all your sound settings on your computer for interference so that your computer is not near any electrical
currents or too close to your monitor.
Check that you have the most up-to-date drivers (software that informs your computer what a piece of hardware
it is) and codecs (compressor and de-compressor of video files) for the sound card by accessing the manufacturer's
Web site and checking for any recent updates. The support or help section of the site should contain downloadable
drivers.

I
cant see the video footage
With so many different video players available there are consequently many different
methods of compression
of a video file, as a result there is no guarantee that
a video file will play on every video player on the market.
If you are having difficulty in viewing a video file It is important to get
the most up-to-date video player as they
contain the latest technology and have
to evolve in order to adapt to the latest methods of video compression.
You
can update your video player by visiting the websites of their respective manufacturer,
this info is usually
found in the help section of your player.
You could also try another player to the one that came with your computer.
You can import the video file into a video editing software as a program will
be more versatile in the different
formats of video compression compared to
that of a video player that may only support one format of compression.

The
video clips take forever to run and when they do have slow playback
It is always best to copy a file to your computer before attempting to run it,
this is because the file is being read
as you are trying to view it from the
CD/ DVD-ROM and it can take a long time depending of the file size and
speed
of your computer.

Why
do we use Flash for our video tutorials?
We produce our video tutorials using the web browser and a the SWFfile format
as most computers support flash
players in Internet explorer. Rather than guessing which of our reader's use what codecs, this is a more reliable
option for viewing. The SWF file has the advantages of being of a small file size which also enables us to provide
more of them.
