Utopia is OnLive! Technologies' beta community site. As a Utopia beta participant, you'll be among the first to talk to and hear groups of people in real-time over the internet. You'll be able to choose and customize an on-screen persona, called an OnLive! Avatar, change or disguise your voice, explore different environments, and use intuitive control options that let you speed through the ruins at Stonehenge or somersault through a space station.
And through it all, you TALK in real-time. In fact, you can talk, sing, giggle, yawn, scream, whisper, laugh, …get the picture? This is about real-life communicating. Groups of people can have real-time audio conversations in any language using face-to-face communication dynamics, just like they would in person.
Users navigate through an array of rich 3D environments, all designed around specific topics and themes to interest and engage users.
The OnLive! Avatars, on-screen personas of users, range from alien to human to animal, and are customizable to truly personalize the real-time voice chat experience.
