Set the language to use for WPI. 'By System (Default)' will use the language set on your computer.
The WPI interface is fully customizable. Here you can pick an already created theme from within the Themes folder to alter the interface's appearance. You can create your own theme by copying a folder, renaming it, and modifying the wpi.htm, wpi.css, and graphics files.
Randomly rotate between the themes that are in the Themes folder.
Temporarily change the size of the WPI window to test the appearance of a theme in a different resolution. This is not meant to be a permanent setting, use 'By System (Default)' for everyday use.
If you like a theme but not the wallpaper, place your image in the Graphics folder, browse to it, and that new image will override all theme's wallpaper.
The tool tips are completely customizable to match your theme.

Un-check this box to hide Options, Config, Show Source, Manual, and About WPI buttons when you burn your unattended cd.
If Show extra buttons is checked, check this box to automatically hide the buttons if started from a CD/DVD. They will still be shown if not started from a CD/DVD.
Do not check this box if you wish to see the Universal Silent Switch Finder window and it's extra options. Else the switches will be appended to the command line automatically.
The entries can be seperated and selected by defining configuration names, such as: Work,Home,Test. Then in the Config wizard you specify which config(s) the entry belongs to. The drop-down menu 'Selections' will then toggle the entries state to match the selected configuration.
In the main interface you have a choice of either a drop-down box or individual buttons for 'Select defaults, Select All, Select None'. But, by using the individual buttons you have no way of selecting custom configurations. If you have multiple configurations, the check this box.
Specifies which entries will be checked when WPI is started. Default, All and None do as they say. Selected a user specified configuraton will only select the entries assigned to that configuration.
You can also specify the configuration to use in the command line: WPI.hta check=Work
Maximum number of columns per page. It may be less if there are not enough entries to fill the columns.
By selecting categories from the drop-down box, or manually entering them in the text area box, you can specify the order in the which the categories are displayed.
Having this checked will re-open the main WPI window after an installation has completed. This can be used to launch stand-alone programs from a USB key. Or to check the status of cond[] and gcond[] conditions.
Checking this will disable the check box next to the category name, preventing the selection of the entire category. This could be used to force the user to read through the category completely to make sure they really meant to select an item.
Normally the entries in each category are sorted alphabetically when created in the Config wizard. The problem that arises there is when you want entries of differing names to be one after the other. Un-checking this keep them in the order they are created.
Note: If this is checked, the config.js file is sorted and can not be undone.
If an item is dependant on another item which is either not checked or disabled via Cond[] or GCond[], then that item is disabled also.
If you have a lot of entries in the config and not enough screen space, extra pages will be created with 'Next' and 'Previous' buttons at the bottom. To add a scroll bar, check this box.
As a column is filling up with items, if there is not enough room for the entire category, it will be moved to the top of the next column.
By default, the items are installed by the 'Categories sort order' and by the order they are in each category. Un-check this to install by your specified 'Install order'. Once all assigned entries are installed, then the rest of remaining entries are done by their order in config.js.
If this is checked and the user hits Exit, the items marked as Forced will still be installed, while all other items are not. Do not use this for everyday usage, just for your completed UACD.
If a grayed condition is true, such as a program already installed, then you can have that item be disabled so the user can't check it. If the item is forced it will still be checked even if this option is checked.
After Windows is installed and WPI is started, this timer will give you a chance to make any changes before the installation begins. If you make any changes you will have to hit 'Begin Install' to start the process.
If using the count down timer you can have WPI play a beep wav file to notify you the timer is about to run out. To not use the beep wav put 0 in for the number of seconds. The file is called \Themes\-theme-\TimerSound.wav
For extra width in the install window to show your theme graphics better or for larger fonts, you can add some extra here.
For extra height in the install window to show your theme graphics better or for larger fonts, you can add some extra here.
Check this box if you want to play audio files (music) while WPI is installing your programs. A Media Player control panel will be placed in the bottom portion of the install window.
Place the music files, any format, in the Audio folder and Add them one at a time. The order they are in the box is the order they are saved and played back. You can click on an entry and use the mouse roller to move it up or down the list. The usual Shift+Click and Ctrl+Click functions are there. Double-click to de-select all.
Add: Opens a file requester to add music file one at a time. These should be
in the Audio folder.
Delete: Deletes the selected item(s) from the list.
Top: Moves the selected item to the top of the list.
Up: Moves the selected item up one row in the list.
Down: Moves the selected item down one row in the list.
Bottom: Moves the selected item to the bottom of the list.
When WPI is first starting, it can temporarily change the monitor resolution to allow for a larger display and less pages for large configs. Be sure your monitor can handle the selected resolution.
Same as above but for the color depth. Select 'Maximum' to match your video card's maximum display depth.
Same as above but for the refresh rate. Select 'Maximum' to match your video card's maximum refresh rate.
If your theme requires extra fonts not supplied with Windows, put a copy in the Tools\Fonts folder and they will be copied over when WPI first starts.
When the install process is first started, this option will be the first item executed. It can be a custom script to customize some items or check for file existance. It can be a program of any kind.
When the install process is finished, this options will be the last item executed. Just like above, it can be a script or a program.
Checking this item gives you the option to either restart the computer or shut it down after the install process is complete. If you wish for the desktop to not be loaded, check 'Do NOT load desktop' and the computer will be restarted or shut down instantly.
Creating a log of the install process is very helpful for tracking down errors in either the path or command line arguments. The default path is '%systemdrive%\WPI_Log.txt'.
