Effect parameters

This all command for pattern effect with classic Protracker effects plus new effects.

0 Arpegio

This effect works in 3 times, 0xy means : play note, play note + x semi tones and finally play note + y semin tones. So the note changing is made at each ticks.

1 Portamento Up

This effect (1xx) increase the tune of the current note with the value xx, the value xx means nothing in musical information. But more xx is greater, more the note tune is increase.

2 Portamento Down

2xx decrease the tune of the current note with xx value.

3 Note sliding

Change the current tune of the note to go to the tune of teh note which contains the command. Used to change smoothly a note.

4 Vibrato

Try to make a vibrato on the current note. 4xy means : do a vibrato with y amplitud and x speed. Currently following a sinus wave form.

5 (Effect 3 + A)

Continue the Effect 3 but also change the current volume. 5xy means increase the volume of x if y=0 or decrease of y if x=0.

6 (Effect 4 + A)

Continue the Effect 4 but also change the current volume. 6xy means increase the volume of x if y=0 or decrease of y if x=0.

8 Panning

Set the current panning of the track.

9 Sample offset

With a number of instrument, 9xx allow you to start the instrument not at the beginning but at xx*256 bytes.

A Volume slide

Axy means increase the volume of x if y=0 or decrease of y if x=0.

Effect B Position Jump

Go the position xx (Bxx)

C Set volume

Don't forget internal volume with D.T. Cxx set the volume to xx.xx go from 0 to FF (normal value is 40)

D Pattern break

Break the current pattern. Dxy allow to go to the next pattern at the line x*10+y (decimal)

E1 Fine portamento up

E1x increase the tune of the current note with x but only each rows.

E2 Fine portamento down

E2x decrease the tune of the current note with x but only each rows.

E5 Set fine tune

E5x set the fine tune of the current instrument.

EA Fine volume up

EAx inccrease the volume of the current note with x but only each rows.

EB Fine volume down

EBx decrease the volume of the current note with x but only each rows.

EC Note cut

Cut the note (volume) at x ticks.

ED Note delay

Start the note x ticks later

EE Pattern delay

Pause the pattern during x rows.

F Set Speed or BPM

Fxx means if xx inferior to 20 set the speed of the music else set the B.P.M. Speed if the current name used in soundtracker software but not a good name.

G Set Global volume

Gxx means set the master volume of the music to xx.

L,R Set left, right balance

xx means set the balance to xx.

M Set Track volume

Mxx means set the master volume of the track to xx.

X Set Digital effects 1

Xxx active the digital effect 1 xx for the track. 00 value means no effect. See the effect number in the FX menu.

Y Set efx 1 value

Yxx set the value for the current efx 1 to xx. See the FX menu to know what means xx following the current effect.

U Set Digital effects 2

Uxx active the digital effect 2 xx for the track. 00 value means no effect. See the effect number in the FX menu.

V Set efx 2 value

Yxx set the value for the current efx 2 to xx. See the FX menu to know what means xx following the current effect.
