Windows 98/ME

Delete all files in the directories "\Program Files\Tiny Personal Firewall" and "\Program Files\Common Files\PFWShared".

Note! Some dll or exe files are COM modules, so the correct procedure is uninstalling them by "regsvr32 /U some.dll" before deleting.

If you cannot delete some files, please stop DSE Agent and DSE Config Interpreter Services (Control Panel->Administration tools->Services). DSE stands for Desktop Security Engine.

Delete registry key "HKLM\Software\Tiny Software\Tiny Personal Firewall" (Start -> regedit.exe) Delete registry key :

• "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\KmxAgent"
• "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\KmxFw"
• "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\KmxCfg"
• "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\KmxIds"
• "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\KmxSbx"

and delete files

"KmxAgent.VxD", KmxFw.VxD, KmxCfg.VxD, KmxIds.VxD and "KmxSbx.VxD" in "Windows\System" folder.

Note! Changes will be reflected until after a reboot.

Delete umx*.dll and from directory "Windows\System".
