StudioLine comes complete with a multi-lingual text editor, which integrates smoothly with many popular word processing tools. It is used to edit, replace or reformat any text blocks on your gallery pages.
For illustrated, step-by-step instructions on replacing the sample text on gallery pages, use the QuickStep function Page Editor - Edit.
Otherwise, double-click on any text object and the text ruler and tool bar become visible. Either can be dragged out of the way, if necessary. Sizing handles to the left and right of the text column are available to change the width.
Inserting, replacing, deleting and selecting text is done using standard text processing procedures. (If you are not yet familiar with text processing under Windows, please follow the exercise in the StudioLine tutorial.)
The text editor is closed by clicking elsewhere on the page.

The global text properties of a paragraph (such as color or font weight) are stored with the invisible end-of-paragraph marker, which appears as a space behind the last character. They control the appearance of the bullet for bulleted text. However, the font of a bullet is always ôSymbolö and underscoring will not apply.
To change the properties or copy and entire paragraph, be certain to include the invisible end-of-paragraph marker in the selection.
Spelling can be checked using different methods:
Global spell check: Choose Spell Checker from the Text menu or the text tool bar.
Check spelling as you type: Questionable words are marked with a wavy underscore. (This option can be turned off.)
Single check: Click right mouse button over a word. If it is not recognized, a list of alternatives will be offered.
When a questionable word is detected, one can accept suggested alternatives, correct the spelling manually, ignore the word or add it to a custom dictionary.
Text can be checked in a variety of languages. To associate a different language to a section of text, select the section and press the Language button on the text tool bar. The default language is determined by the operating system. Text that was pasted from a Word Processor will have inherited the originally used language.
