For layouts with image views or folders, StudioLine will generate automatic navigation links. If a link does not apply (e.g., the Next button on the last page of a series), that button can be displayed with a transparency factor.
For esthetic reasons it may be preferred to display a special version of the button, indicating that it is disabled:
Open the appropriate page or image view level in the layout.
Select the navigation button.
Select Link from the Context Menu and set the transparency for inactive buttons to 100%.
Create a copy of the button.
Apply suitable special effects to the copy of button, which represent a "disabled" state. You might decide to remove any shadow or button effects, or change the button to black and white.
Drag the "disabled" button over the existing button on the layout.
(To align the "disabled" button perfectly, make it transparent until properly aligned.)
Select Link from the Context Menu and choose No Link.
Select Stacking Order from the Context Menu and choose Send to Back to hide the "disabled" button under the regular button.
When the regular navigation button is suppressed, the special "disabled" button will become visible.
