The background can be solid color or a tiled image. For a new page, the background is determined from its Layout. A unique background for each page can be defined in the page editor.

Drop an image to the preview. It will be tiled to create a background. If the intended background image has transparent areas, choose a solid color background before adding the image. |
Solid Color |
Choose a solid color background. |
Render at Ultimate Position |
This option only applies to backgrounds using a tiled image. It forces StudioLine to render images over the background at the exact position where they ultimately will appear in the browser. Choosing this option may be necessary for certain background patterns. In exchange, it may lead to potentially higher disk space needs, longer publishing times and slower loading pages. |
There is no way to eliminate all background settings. Every page must have either a solid color or image background.
