Installation Instructions:
Copy the main file, guilg00.gz, into a separate directory on your Hard Drive and perform the following operation on that file:
gunzip <filename> ; tar -xvf <filename>
EXAMPLE: gunzip gui00.gz ; tar -xvf gui00
After this has been done, simply type the following command to start
the install program:
./Runme
NOTE: If you can, run the install from a terminal window from within X-Windows as the X-based install is a more familiar interface, although this is not a required step.
To start the application after you have installed it, simply type the following - replacing <path to application> with the directory to which you installed Corel WordPerfect 8 for Linux:
<path to application>/wpbin/xwp &
EXAMPLE: /usr/local/wp8-de/wpbin/xwp &
Once you have installed Corel WordPerfect 8 for Linux, you may also
may install one or more of the additional language modules listed below.
You must install them after you install Corel WordPerfect
8 for Linux.

Installation Instructions:
Go to the directory on your Hard Drive where you copied the Language Module file(s), and perform the following operation on each of them:
gunzip <filename> ; tar -xvf <filename>
EXAMPLE: gunzip guice00.gz ; tar -xvf guice00
gunzip guice01.gz ; tar -xvf guice01
gunzip guice02.gz ; tar -xvf guice02
After this has been done, simply type the following command to start the install process:
./Runme
NOTE: When running the install program for the Language Modules, you must specify the directory where you installed the Corel WordPerfect 8 for Linux application files previously.
Once completed you can re-load WordPerfect and you'll see that your Application interface has changed from US English to whatever language you just installed.
