COLLABORATIONS WITH OTHERS

The Department of Educational Programmes seeks to make contact and co-operate with other organisations involved in similar activities. Up to now it has co-operated with:

• ICOM (the International Council of Museums);

• The Greek Ministry of Education, during the annual regional seminar entitled "Museum-School";

• The Greek Ministry of Culture, during the campaign "With a book, I can fly";

• The Greek Ministry of Culture, the Greek Ministry of Education and the General Secretariat of Adult Education, during the first experimental year of the "’Melina’ Project: Education and Culture”.

• The Greek Ministry of Culture, in the organisation of Cultural Educational Networks in border areas.

• Institutions of higher learning.

• Greek and foreign museums.

• Authorities organizing meetings and conferences.
