Description: This handy utility creates compressed images of CD-ROMs on your hard disk drive and then assigns them drive letters to trick your computer into thinking the CD is in the drive. These images run at 100x speed, substantially faster than the fastest CD-ROM drives. Great for offices where not all the computers have CD-ROM drives, and saves shuffling through CDs to find the one you want.

Description: PaneKiller allows you to browse through the contents of your computer easily without opening Explorer windows. Clicking on the small icon in the system tray pops up a menu in which you can put your drives, control panel, dial-up networking folder or whatever you choose. Each item on the menu can open a new menu with the contents of that item. For example, the hard drive icon opens a new menu of all the folders on the hard drive, and each folder can open another menu with the contents of that folder.

Description: Rain has the same purpose as Waterfall, but is claimed to have a greater cooling effect, at the price of being slightly less stable and lacking the CPU monitor feature.
