This software is able to detect an access point's SSID, MAC address, manufacturer, network type (peer-to-peer or infrastructure) among other technical details. It also has a view that charts the signal-to-noise ratio. In addition, it identifies whether WEP has been enabled. This tool is infinitely useful for surveying and analysing your own wireless network to find out what can be "seen" by the outside world.
