Giant ants! Radiation! Fifties B-grade movies! Paying homage to the 1954 sci-fi movie classic Them, this game transports you back to a time when widespread paranoia and fear were a fact of life. A meteor has crashed outside a small Midwestern US town, and the ensuing radiation has caused normal ants to grow to horrifying proportions! Gasp!

The original in one of the oldest computer games series around, this is a text-based classic. At a time when graphics were but a glimmer in game programmers' eyes, Zork relied instead on masterful story-telling to draw you into its fantasy world setting. We have included Zork I, II and III for your gaming pleasure.

Released in 1991, this is another great title from Sierra and Dynamix. Set in 1930s Asia, the game's novelty lies in the fact that the puzzles in the game can usually be solved in several ways. It also features arcade-style action segments. Akin to an Indiana Jones movie (or game), the story is compelling and well conceived. The only real complaint is that the game is a tad short.

This sequel to LucasArts' very first adventure game, Maniac Mansion, returns you to the mansion to foil the evil Purple TentacleÆs schemes. The game is an almost perfect mix of Warner Brothers cartoons and classic LucasArts adventure gaming. It is frequently voted, both online and in print, the best adventure game of all time.
