• Click the 'Login' menu and select Preferences
• Select the 'Connection'
• Select 'Use Proxies' and enable/tick the 'Enable SOCKS proxy' option
• In the Server Name field enter your gateway/pppshar machine IP address typically 192.168.0.1 and type 1080 in Server Port
• Select Ver 5 (SOCKS 5)
• Click OK when done.

For SOCKS feature to work from the client machines, you have to first ENABLE DNS under Network properties in the client machines. How to..?
