Using Ping and tracert from the client machine (Advanced option)

You can use ping and tracert using PPPshell client software available as a seperate download (8KB). Read the instructions in PPPshell software.

Note: DO NOT use this software for the ping command to test the connection between the machines or for checking the DNS from the client PC. PPPshell client is required only if you want to use full functions of ping and traceroute from the client PC. This software is used only to use ping or traceroute to an external host.
