Configure your Web browsers on each of the "Workstation"
to use proxy:

In Netscape Communicator
4.x or higher
- Go to Edit--> Preferences--> Advanced-->
Proxies--> Manual Proxy Configuration.
- Under HTTP proxy type your
gateway machine IP (typically 192.168.0.1) and Port
80
- Under Security proxy field
type your gateway machine IP (typically 192.168.0.1)
and in the Port type 443
- Under FTP proxy field type
your gateway machine IP (typically 192.168.0.1) and in
the Port field type 8000
- Under SOCKS proxy field
type your gateway machine IP (typically 192.168.0.1)
and in Port field type 1080
- Leave other fields Blank.
In Netscape Navigator 3.0x
- Go to menu Options--> Network Preferences
- Click the Proxies tabs and
- Click "Manual Proxy configuration"and
then
- Click"View" .
- Under HTTP proxy type your
gateway machine IP (typically 192.168.0.1) and Port
80
- Under Security proxy field
type your gateway machine IP (typically 192.168.0.1)
and in the Port type 443
- Under FTP proxy field type
your gateway machine IP (typically 192.168.0.1) and in
the Port field type 8000
- Under SOCKS proxy field
type your gateway machine IP (typically 192.168.0.1)
