Ativa Net Meter monitors Net usage and displays a real-time graph indicating the performance of your network connection. It collects information from many sources including: dialup, DSL, LAN, cable and ISDN connections.

This program is what the BigPond usage meter should have been. Bigpond Watcher 3.0 sits in your application tray, and whenever you want to see your usage, just right click it, and click display usage, and up pops your usage instantly. It even gives you the option to disconnect you if you're reaching a dangerously high level of usage (2995 megs).

BPusage is a small program for Telstra BigPond Cable and ADSL users to automatically monitor their data usage. BPusage sits in your system tray periodically connecting to the BigPond usage meter site to retrieve the relevant information. All of the information retrieved is available at the click of a mouse by double-clicking on the BPusage system tray icon. BPusage also features an advanced rule editor allowing you to create custom rules to perform actions such as automatically disconnecting, displaying a visual alert or playing a sound when your usage exceeds a user specified value.

DU Meter is a tool that will enable you to use your Internet connection more efficiently. DU Meter lets you see how much of your full bandwidth potential is actually utilised at any given point in time, either by displaying a real time graph, numerical display, or both. The program works with dialup, ISDN, cable modem, and Ethernet cards and allows you to select a specific network interface. Additional features include logging, export, an option to remove the DU Meter window caption, as well as a stopwatch which accurately times your downloads and reports the average transfer rates. DU Meter also comes with an option to notify user or disconnect from the Internet automatically when network activity drops below a certain level.

Internet Usage Monitor (talking version) keeps track of the time spent on the Internet and calculates the cost according to the local telephone charges as specified by the user. It sits in the system tray and automatically becomes active when you log on to your ISP. It calculates the total time as well as the time spent each month and generates the outputs in the form of attractive graphs and charts. The graph shows the time and cost spent on monthly basis and also compares the current average and total time spent as well as monthly breakup of the cost and time. Internet Usage Monitor also has a reminder facility which can remind you of closing the connection after a given period of time you specify.
