Set a Default Policy for Replication

When replicating directory information using a Connection Agreement, you can set the default attributes that will be replicated using a Policy. A Policy allows you to set configuration options that are shared across multiple Connection Agreements.
  1. In the console tree, right-click Active Directory Connector Management, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu.
  2. Click either the From Exchange tab or the From Windows tab depending on the direction you plan to replicate. If you are going to perform a two-way replication, select attributes in both places.
  3. From the list of attributes, select the ones you want to be replicated by default for your Connection Agreement.

Note Attributes you select affect all Connection Agreements. If you clear attributes on Exchange, also clear the same attributes in Windows 2000.
