Replicate from Windows to Exchange
Before configuring replication, you must Set Up a Connection Agreement.
- On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click
Active Directory Connector Management
.
- In the details pane, double-click the Connection Agreement for which you want to configure replication.
- On the From Windows tab,
under Windows organizational units, click Add.
- In the Choose a container dialog box, click
the export container in the Windows 2000 Server
Active Directory that you want to replicate. Click OK.
- To specify where the Windows organizational unit will replicate to, click Modify,
and then click the appropriate Exchange directory container. If the organizational unit
you select contains multiple objects, select the objects you
want to replicate to Windows.
- Verify in the Exchange Administrator program that replication was successful.
To set up diagnostic logging to configure which replication events are displayed in
the Windows Event Viewer, see Log Replications Events.
Note
Two replication cycles may be required before all information, such as attributes, will appear
on the Exchange property pages of a replicated Windows object.
