The archive included on this disc represents updates from the Red Hat FTP site. The files here are RPM's, which makes it easy to install or upgrade these packages, they exist as they appeared on the FTP site at the time of production.

Install instructions: The easiest way to view, upgrade or install the packages is to use a package manager such as the Glint (Graphical Package Manager). For Red Hat Linux 6.2, after mounting the CDROM, configure Glint to look at /patch/redhat. Alternatively you may wish to use rpm -ivh <package name> to install or rpm -Uvh <package name> to upgrade, from the shell.

Caldera OpenLinux 2.3 Updates (7/9/2000)


OpenLinux 2.3

The RPM files in the /patch/caldera directory of the APC CD are current updates downloaded from Caldera's FTP site. These files represent the updates located in the 'current' updates directory at ftp.calderasystems.com at the time of publishing.
