We have 10 users and two licenses. Two people can use the software at a time. Should we buy more licenses?

A:

Yes, you need 10 licenses. All of our licenses are per-user licenses. That is, two licenses are for 2 users, not 2 concurrent users. This is a frequent misunderstanding with our products because the licenses are inherently floating. We didn't want to confine a user to an account or machine to use the software.

Academic licensing is handled slightly differently.
