Frequently Asked Questions

Q:

If I Clone a slide that has a graphic - in this case a TIFF screen dump - the clone doesn't get the attachment. I wanted to have this one slide reappear several times during my presentation, but it looks like I have to copy/paste it.

A:

Cloning is meant to link the topic structure of two slides or parts of the outline and does not take into consideration aesthetic attributes (such as the color, or images on the slide). When the text on a cloned topic or slide is edited or modified, all of its clones will be updated to reflect these changes. A clone can have children and further descendants. When these are added, all other clones will reflect the addition of children and children's children.

You can still use cloning on your slides to retain the topic structure, but you will need to copy and paste the image itself onto your clones.
