Claire:
Here's a trick I learned a while ago for this country's (Australia) very hot summers. To prevent
make-up being affected by excessive perspiration apply roll on
anti-perspirant to the temples, brow, above and below the lip, like where you
perspire most, then apply the make up as per normal. Seems to work.
Removing nail polish completely can be a real problem. Here's a good trick: Take a small medicine
glass bottle with a sponge in it. Fill the bottle with nail polish remover
and stick your finger into it then wiggle the finger around, shifts all the
polish. Another method is using an old tooth-brush, apply the acetone to the
brush and scrub, this gets in the crevices really well, don't use the wrong
brush for the teeth later though!

I use quality makeup ( Mary Kay) and follow the sales consultants advice
such as blending in all the makeup around the eyes and cheeks. Don't be to
garish in using cheek blush.
For my wardrobe I like clothes that give me a professional woman's
look...Suits,heels and everything to match. I like nice dresses as well for
dinner in the evening. Weekends I wear casual outfits such as leggings and
sweaters.
I have found a book that can help in saving some money when buying makeup;
it's titled "Don't go to the Cosmetic Counter Without Me" by Paula Begoun. I
bought it in Walmart in the book section.
I hope I helped someone out there. They can email me any time and I will
answer.
